The Guiding Principles of Military Men

Much like any other person in the world, a soldier has his own guiding principles. According to some, trying and living by these principles even if they are not in the military has helped them live a full life. Here are some of the principles that govern the way military people live their lives.

First, one must be guided by his duty. Never forget that you are there for a certain purpose which you have to fulfil. Planning is the next concept. Some would say planning everything is not good, but knowing how to attack a problem or the enemy would definitely be to your advantage since you know how to defend yourself, in case anything happens. However, there are times when everything doesn’t go according to plan which is flexibility is also important. Go with the flow and do what is needed at the moment.

Loving what you do is of importance in anything in this world. This is why passion is another important concept.

Perseverance comes next; continuously striving to succeed despite failures gives you a lot of experience and lessons in life. If you decided to do something, then it must be done correctly. Impeccability is another principle to live by.

“No man is an island.” This saying holds true, especially during war. Cooperation and teamwork is important to become a victor. Giving back to those in need is another principle. Share what you have and blessings will be showered on you. Lastly, loyalty to your team and the organization is very much needed.

These simple things are the top principles the military lives by. It might sound simple, but in reality, when faced with challenges and temptations, following this is hard. Extra effort and dedication is needed, like what the military does and sacrifices.

In Times of War

Winning a war doesn’t simply happen. Decisions and sacrifices are made. In order to emerge as the winner, here are some principles a group follows:

1. Mass Concentrate. The leader of the group must decide when and where they will attack their opponent. In this way, the group will be able to concentrate their full power on a specific group.

2. Purpose. The group must have a clear goal in mind; a goal which is worth fighting and dying for. The goal must be relevant to all the members of the group so that each and every one of them will be motivated to fight.

3. Offensive. The group must strive to strike their enemy in a way that they will be contained in one area, for easier management.

4. Surprise. The group must work on tactics, which their enemy will never think of. In this way, their enemies will be caught off guard and they will be able to defeat them easily.

5. Economy of Force. The group leader must be able to maximize man power. He must be able to make the most out of his troops.

6. Scheming. The leader of the group must be able to form tactics that would drive their enemies to unfamiliar territories; by doing this- the group would be advantageous in terms of territory.

7. Unity of Command. Every group must have one leader that everyone obeys. In this way, it will be ensured that everyone will listen only to what the leader has to say.

8. Security. The group must always be prepared for all kinds of attacks. Loopholes are not allowed.

9. Simplicity. Orders and tactics must be kept short and simple. This doesn’t only provide easier understanding but also prevents miscommunication among the group.

A Peek in Their Life

Playing games showing military life nowadays is a bit more similar to what soldiers really do in real life. Well for one, a lot of people have this notion that individuals who plan to enter military trainings and school have a well-toned body. No one would believe a tall and lanky person could face buff men in times of war, right? Actually, this is quite true.

Once a person decides to serve and enter military school, several processed are undertaken. First, body is not the only basis. Military personnel should also the brains to think of possible tactics, especially when in battle. Fast and critical thinking is needed to make the right decisions in order to save the lives of people. This is why a grade requirement is needed of these hopeful applicants. They also take written examinations to test their knowledge.

Let’s move on to what they do inside the camp. Getting your body physically ready for battle is of utmost importance. This is why certain routines are followed each day. Discipline and respect are taught to soldiers and are hopefully inculcated into their souls. Early morning, these soon-to-be soldiers rise before the sun and engage in their morning routine consisting of stretching, assembly, and probably a jog or run. However, it might sound easy but the intensity of their jog is heavy. Also, they undergo skills training scheduled each day. For instance, going through obstacle courses, jumping of buildings, firing guns and other physically-challenging exercises are expected to be mastered.

The physical pain and hardships are what most people think is difficult, and in fact it is. However, if you have the right will and determination to succeed and become one of the finest soldiers in your country, everything would be worth it.

What They Have Done and What We Can Do

It was a cold winter morning when we got the news. We lost Dad in the war. Just when we thought we will be spending Christmas with him. My mom and I, along with my two other sisters, we planned for a special treat for dad when he comes home. We will all make individual recipes for our dear father.

We filled the house with lights as dad has always associated brightness with Christmas. Our six-feet-tall Christmas tree looked lovely with all its trimmings and ornaments, the way dad want it to look like. My sisters and I saved up from our allowances and bought dad a jacket that is already all wrapped up in a red paper with decors of Santa smiling. He said he would be home for the holidays. He always keeps his promises, but this time he didn’t.

In the midst of our mourning, our spirits were lifted by loving words from friends and families, on how they appreciate dad and his being courageous. The fireplace became our favorite venue while we talked about the happy days with dad around.

Mom decided that despite dad’s absence, we would continue to share blessing with the other heroes. In memory of dad, we will pursue to gather gifts and assistance from friends and family and share those with our brothers and uncles and fathers who are out there in the dangerous field.

It’s been two years and we haven’t stopped doing what we promised. The good news is more and more people come to understand our plan and continue to send help. As mom said, it is not only being thankful and realizing what Dad and the other heroes have done for us that matter. It is also what we all can do and share.

Lovely Reunion – Coming Home from the Military

A cousin joyfully told the story of that wonderful surprise she got from her father who is in the military service. She said it was one ordinary day in school that turned into one extraordinary event. Her father has been away from home for almost a year. And of course, she misses him every single day.

In the middle of one of our classes, her teacher informed her that someone was to meet her at their Principal’s office. She felt nervous because a trip to the Principal’s office doesn’t sound good. It is always linked with some problems in class. But she obeyed just the same.

When she got to the office, she was in awe at the sight of her father with arms wide open. My cousin’s dad was home from the war in the unexpected time and really did give her a wonderful surprise. She ran to him and they hugged each other for what seemed like forever, while in between sobs my cousin was mumbling things to her dad. I was also delighted my uncle is home safe and sound.

She has always told her father the computer gadget that she would really love to have. But when my uncle said, “Come and let’s buy that stuff that you have always wished for,” She didn’t stop hugging his dad, and my cousin just said, “There’s no need, Dad. You are home, and that’s all that matters.” A teacher was able to have a video coverage of that special moment and shared it on You Tube. Our other relatives in other cities were informed and were able to share the joy through the broadcasting website.

We are sure you have stories to tell, too. Share your lovely reunions and the surprises you received from your brave loved ones. Write it here and let the world know we are not alone in our lonely days, and we are one in sharing the bliss of homecomings!

The Heroes That They Are

We see them on the news. We hear a lot about them, what they have done for the majority, and the fate that they are all faced with. Not to mention the risks they took, the risks they will continue to take to save motherland and its people. Only a few get to be grateful for them, and acknowledge the heroes in them.

Our militaries are also our heroes. How often did we stop to consider their existence, and how much effort have we actually exerted to let them know that they matter to us? We accept them and their profession as a group. We fail to see the individuals who left the comforts of their homes, and the warm hugs of their families to do great things.

For most of us who don’t have family members who are in military service, we tend to forget that there are brave individuals out there risking their precious lives while we care less about what’s going on around us. For the family members of these heroes, they spend each day praying that they will get to see their father, brother or uncle again after they have courageously done their jobs.

Let bravenewhooks.com be a tribute to them. Let special pages of this site be dedicated to them and their heroic deeds. We can use this page to acknowledge their greatness, be thankful for their passion to face the dangers in behalf of the great multitude.

Bravenewhooks.com can be a wonderful way to reunite with families who have relatives in the military service, compare notes and provide assurance for one another.
